Room Design -- Inside the Box
*This is a great design service for those who need direction updating a room (or rooms) for their home. It is a smaller scale service offering a customized do-it-yourself master plan for a very reasonable price.
*This option even works for those who don't live near Elements of Style. As long as you're willing to measure and photograph your space and communicate via e-mail, this service will work for you. (Don't worry, we'll provide direction on how this is to be done.)
How does it work?
First we'll need to get a sense of your design style and needs for the room. We'll ask you to fill out a design questionnaire,(link) answering several design related questions.
Next, for local clients, we'll schedule an appointment to photograph and measure your space. For those living farther away, we'll give you directions on how to accomplish this step.
2-4 weeks later you'll receive, for each room, your design box which will include:
- A detailed concept board with sketches, magazine tears, and samples that communicate the overall concept for your room.
- A schematic furniture plan, drawn to scale and cross-referenced with the concept board.
- Swatch books of furniture, fabrics, paint/wall coverings, accessories, flooring. lighting etc.
- A shopping list for all the resources used in your design.
- A step by step explanation to help you pull all the pieces together.
