Room Design -- Inside the Box
Our “Inside the Box” service is for those who need design ideas for updating one or more rooms in their home, but are not planning any structural changes. This is a smaller scale service offering a customized do-it-yourself master plan at a very reasonable price. This option also works well for those who live out of the area – the design work and communication with the client can be done by email and traditional mail. “Inside the Box” also makes a great gift for family and friends.
How does it work? First we’ll ask you to fill out a design questionnaire, which will help us understand your design style and your needs for the room.
Next, for local clients, we’ll schedule an appointment to photograph and measure your space. For those living farther away, we’ll give you direction on how to accomplish this step.
Our designers will then go to work, and 2-3 weeks later you’ll receive a design box for each room, which will include:
- A detailed concept board with sketches, magazine tears, and samples that communicate the overall concept for your room.
- A schematic furniture plan, drawn to scale and cross-referenced with the concept board.
- Swatch books of furniture, fabrics, paint colors, wall coverings, flooring, lighting, accessories etc.
- A shopping list for all the resources used in your design.
- A step-by-step explanation to help you put the room together.
Hourly Consultations
In home or in studio consultations are available on an hourly basis.
Drapery Design and Consultations
Drapery design is a specialty of Elements of Style. We work with exceptional seamstresses and workrooms to provide you with results that will exceed your expectations.
Light Commercial Design
Elements of Style offers office design for doctors, dentists, businesses, retail locations, and hospitality locations.
